Around the league
First I would like to give a quick heads up for my readers that my traffic is increasing and I’m on top 5 on MSN live search for the keywords “NBA Blog”. And second, I have a cold now and I need some Vaporizers to help me in my breathing to be able to continue with my work today. Too much for that, I will give a quick recap on what happen to the league. Boston Celtics still leads the league with 6-0 win loss record. San Antonio hanging tough in 2nd place with a 6-1 win loss record. But I don’t think it will stay that long because San Antonio will face Dallas Mavericks today as they square off in Texas match-up.
Surprisingly, New Orleans Hornets won 7 out of 9 games. And they’re now threatening to become a playoff contender this season. But in order to obtain this they will have to stay healthy, especially Peja Stojacovic and Tyson Chandler. Because this two key players of New Orleans Hornets are prone of injury based on their career history over the last 5 years. We have to look out for this. Utah Jazz starts hot and pick up what they left off last NBA Playoffs. Carlos Boozer leads the pack and Deron Williams provides some clutch shooting. Andrei Kirilenko always there to defend and block shots, Mehmet Okur provides inside defense, and they have a new guy that they can rely on the shooting guard spot, Brewer.
The league is now more balanced and you cannot predict on who will win this years NBA ring. Let’s see in few months if the trend will still continue, if New Orleans can make it to the playoffs, and Utah, San Antonio, and Dallas will be the power in the west.
